The Brief

We work closely with the Bruntwood team at Alderley Park having worked hand in hand on many different aspects of the Accelerator team’s marketing plans. With such a strong relationship, we have a deep understanding of how to help the Alderley Park Accelerator achieve their goals.

The Alderley Park Accelerator offers start-up and scale-up support to early stage and growing life science businesses on their journey to success. Powered by the BioCity Group, the service brings together training, business support and access to investment under one roof.

The Work

The Alderley Park Accelerator Programme comprises a two-and-a-half day Pre-Accelerator, and the follow-on eight week Accelerator Programme for best performing Pre-Accelerator graduates selected in a competitive process. We devised a strategy to help target suitable individuals and teams with just a spark of an idea, focusing on start-ups and companies looking to launch new innovations.

With a string of successful companies having already had the opportunity to take advantage of the support provided, it was essential to get across their message. Devising case studies provides the programme with evidence of its success and having this communicated directly from the company representatives would be the strongest delivery of the message.

We produced two bespoke short films designed to give a ‘voice of success’, speaking directly about their own experience of the Alderley Park Accelerator Programme. Telling their own story in their own words adds a value through trust and honesty that can only be achieved through the voices of respected individuals in their field. Designed to not only showcase the businesses and their success, the production includes a variety of shots and locations, all from around the Alderley Park site, including the classroom aspects of the programme delivery.

The Effect

The final films were created to be used across a variety of media, including website, part of presentations and social media. The Alderley Park Accelerator team are delighted with the results and we continue to support them on a number of different projects.

Zool were approached by the Alderley Park team to create engaging video that would showcase the Accelerator programme to academics, startups and established businesses. Our timeframe for delivery was very tight, so planning and organisation of the shoots was key, which enabled us to bring efficiencies to the project, both financial and in delivery.
