We are currently recruiting for the following roles:

Zool works with a wide range of B2B, and some B2C companies, within life science, including pharma, healthcare, biomedical, and a variety of other sectors.

The Digital Marketing Executive needs to be proactive, enthusiastic and driven to provide the very best results for our clients. They will primarily be responsible for implementing, managing, strategising and optimising client social media accounts (organic and paid), PPC and email campaigns.

  • Proven track record in delivering successful social media, PPC and email campaigns and results across a spectrum of platforms and markets
  • 1-2 years+ hands-on experience in a similar digital role (B2B)
  • Demonstrable experience in planning, strategy and setting up campaigns, from the outset or optimising existing accounts
  • Strong understanding of audience building and remarketing
  • An eye for creative work, i.e. website landing pages, email design and carrying messaging through each channel up to the CTA/customer interaction.
  • Degree in Marketing or relevant field advantageous but not essential
  • Must have a keen eye for detail and have good copywriting skills
  • Will be proactive and must have great communication, presentation and organisational skills
  • An ability to be able to multi-task across several client accounts and work under tight deadlines is a must
  • You will be able to drive analytical-driven decisions into campaign planning and performance improvement
  • You’ll be confident and able to showcase your expertise to a diverse set of clients. This role will be client facing at times, therefore experience of this and strong account management skills are important
  • Keep up to date with the latest developments in digital marketing and act as the social champion within the business
  • The ability to work autonomously and be comfortable getting into the detail
  • For the position, you will be a passionate Digital Marketing Executive that wants to join a stable, hard working and fun environment.

Experience of:

Social media (organic and paid) including Facebook Business Manager and LinkedIn Ads (Primary Area)

Sprout Social, Hootsuite or similar social media management systems

PPC – Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising (formerly Bing)

Campaign Monitor, Mailchimp, Klaviyo or similar email marketing platforms

Additional skills would be a bonus:

  • Basic Photoshop and/or Illustrator skills
  • Experience of WordPress
  • Creating and building landing pages

Desirable but not essential:

  • Managed YouTube, TikTok advertising campaigns and Google Shopping

Day to Day 

Creating cutting edge social media strategies across core Social Platforms (including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram).

Driving website conversion rate improvements (CRO) for inbound lead generation, including A/B and Landing page testing strategies

Utilising strong analytical ability (Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Hotjar) to evaluate end-to-end user experiences across multiple channels and customer touchpoints.

Management of all social media channels and campaigns to sustain, engage and grow audiences for clients.

Manage editorial planning, including the creation and scheduling of engaging content across different channels.

Researching, planning and executing complex Pay per Click strategies to target key personas across Google & Microsoft Advertising (Bing).

With the support of the Creative team, create and design an array of innovative email campaigns. Email campaign management, including checking campaigns, are set correctly. Proofreading of emails for clarity, grammar and spelling.

Create regular performance reports to improve the overall performance of the social channels and further engage with communities.

Daily community management tasks including responding to customer queries.
