The Brief

Our expert knowledge of eCommerce led to us being approached by a local family-owned extreme sports brand, booicore, who wanted to move away from selling their products through third party sites such as Amazon.

They required a refresh and update to their own website in order to support the SEO campaign and ultimately, an increase in traffic and sales.

A long-term SEO strategy was put in place to raise and sustain brand awareness whilst driving direct traffic to the booicore website and in turn, driving sales of key products.

The Work

As booicore is an eCommerce site, the project began by refreshing and optimising the product descriptions alongside the creation of beautiful and eye-catching product pictures through a photography shoot for the kids range initially.

The website navigation was refined to ensure it kept users on the site for longer and that the path to purchase was as quick and easy as possible. This process ran concurrently with a technical audit of the site including factors such as, but not limited to, site speed, user experience, mobile-friendliness and working links.

A content-focused strategy was implemented, concentrating on user needs which had been identified through a detailed keyword map and research. To enable booicore to build a relationship with their customers as well as appealing to the search engine spiders, a monthly blog calendar was created to change the value of the site’s fresh content as well as engaging customers and support organic social media activity.

The Effect

Our strong SEO strategy has resulted in users browsing more pages, spending longer on site, buying more products and the average order value has increased. We continue to work with and support booicore to help them to provide an outstanding customer experience.
