The Brief

Established in 2014, Strip Curtains Direct are British manufacturers and retailers of commercial-grade strip curtains for food processing environments, warehouses, offices and vehicles, amongst others.

As a company who were previously reliant on eBay for sales, Strip Curtains Direct had reached a point where they required a dedicated website to establish themselves as the place to go for PVC Strip Curtains.

The Work

The design and build of a new website was imperative to really drive the organic SEO campaign forward. The primary focus was to build trust in the brand and gain access to a wider range of potential new business engagements, whilst establishing themselves in the market place.

Ensuring SEO was incorporated into the website design and development right from the beginning was essential. The emphasis was placed on achieving number one ranking for important keywords in the industry in order to help generate calls. Content development was also crucial, with the identified target keywords integrated into not only the content for the site itself but also blogs and an email campaign. Keyword progress was tracked on a regular basis, with tweaks being made as new keyword opportunities were identified.

As part of the website design and development, our graphic design team not only produced bespoke imagery through the use of a photography shoot but also design collateral such as signage and stationery.

Once the business was established and had a regular supply of customers, a website redesign was essential in order to move the business onto an eCommerce platform where they could sell directly to customers through the website. Alongside this, regular and effective content was created in the form of blogs and newsletters to connect successfully with the existing customer base in order to generate revisits to the site and resales.

The Effect

  • Ranking within top ten on SERPs for targeted keywords, with increases of over 200 places for many of them sitting within the top five results
  • Increases across the board for users, sessions, pageviews, and average session duration
  • Record sales from leads through the new website

The campaign has increased over the period of time we have been working with this client. We have recently developed a new fully integrated e-commerce solution for them using Shopify which will see an increase to the ROI and help to further fuel their growth.
